If you’ve imported a Chinese vehicle, here is a step-by-step guide to help you understand how you can register it in Dubai.
1. Obtain the VCC Certificate
After importing your Chinese vehicle, you will receive a VCC. This is the first document required to begin the registration process.
2. Vehicle Testing
Once you have the VCC, take your vehicle to any RTA testing and registration center for registration test. The car must pass this test to be eligible for registration.
3. Insurance
After successful testing, you will need to obtain valid vehicle insurance for your car. This is a mandatory step before registration.
4. Visit an RTA Registration Center
Once your vehicle is tested and insured, visit any RTA Registration and Testing Center to complete the registration process.
Note: If your vcc states that your vehicle is a non gcc specs then you need GCC conformity certificate as well.
